Meet the maker
Hello, I’m Jayne
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to fill my home with scents. From the early days of plug-ins to candles and reed diffusers, there’s nothing quite like setting the ambience of a room with a carefully chosen fragrance.
“Just like a perfume, everyone has their favourite – and scent has a way of stirring all sorts of feelings and memories.”
With my son finished at uni and my mothering duties a little lighter, it felt like the perfect moment to fill my spare time with something I truly loved.
I turned my love of home fragrance into a small business – and that’s when Essence & Mist was born.
I’m still learning and growing, teaching myself the art of blending and creating new fragrances for your home.
